Our buying guides, maintenance guides and blog posts exist to help you order the right part and keep your Can-Am running — not to sell a specific brand or upsell a specific product. Here is how we approach them.
How guides are written
Guides are written in-house, drawing on manufacturer service documentation, owner’s manual guidance, and general powersports mechanical practice. Where a specific claim depends on your exact model, year or trim, we say so rather than generalize.
No pay-for-placement content
We do not accept payment from parts manufacturers to recommend their products in guides or blog posts. When we mention OEM vs. aftermarket tradeoffs, it reflects our own assessment of fitment risk, not a sponsorship.
Corrections
Specifications, part numbers and maintenance intervals can change across model years or be superseded by the manufacturer. If you find something in a guide that looks outdated or incorrect for your machine, let us know and we will review it.
What guides are not
Our guides are general guidance, not a replacement for your model-specific service manual for torque specs, wiring diagrams or warranty-relevant procedures. When precision matters — torque values, electrical diagrams — always defer to your owner’s or service manual.
